New: NH 66 Toll Plazas (2026):

• As the 645 km NH 66 upgrade (Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram) progresses, new toll plazas are opening progressively - 5 of the planned 11 are operational as of September 2026
• Planned locations include Thiruvananthapuram (2), Kollam (2), Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod (Kumbla)
• A full one-way Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram trip is projected to cost roughly ₹1,650-3,000 for a car once all plazas are complete, versus ₹585 currently across the 5 operational plazas
• The Thiruvallam plaza (Thiruvananthapuram) currently charges ₹150 per car one-way, up from ₹120 after the Kazhakoottam flyover was added to the toll section
• The Eramalloor plaza on the Aroor-Thuravoor elevated highway is expected to use barrier-free Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling, with overhead cameras deducting the toll from the FASTag account

You can use the following toll payment methods to pay tolls in Kerala:

1. FASTag Electronic System (Recommended):
